Like waiting for buses, you wait years for Part Two of a tractor book, then along come a couple more or less at once.
Here's the good news for those who have been waiting for the second parts of Anthony Clare's Nuffield Tractor Story and Stuart Gibbard's David Brown Tractor Story.
The Nuffield Tractor Story Volume 2: Nuffield and Leyland 1963-1982 is complete, edited and at the designer's for late autumn publication.
Meanwhile, Stuart tells us that he has just completed the last sentence of the last page of The David Brown Tractor Story - Part Two Agricultural Tractors 1949-1964. This is earmarked for publication in spring next year.
