It's eighteen years since Stephen Moate started the specialist distribution company Classic Tractor Books . His range of - and knowledge about - books and DVDs on tractors, farm machinery, earthmoving. logging and allied subjects are unmatched in the UK.
It's also ten years since he launched the companion publishing company Japonica Press. The ex dairy farmer named the company after his favourite cow.

Hi Stephen,
Have you any books in stock on the history of Bedford wagons. I am looking for a present for a friends 65th birthday and he spent much of his working life with Bedfords. Please reply to e-mail address below or my mobile 07801 416250.
Many Thanks, Robin Swinburn.

Hi Stephen. Came across your credentials in May 1996 T & M magazine
Recently aquired a Bristol Tru Trac plough. Can find out very little about this interesting implement. By chance it was featured in the
T & M article in Question.
It is missing the mouldboards. I have tried a Fergy one and it is a very close fit except the bolt holes are marginally out.
Did Bristol use Fergy wearing parts do you know?
This plough sat on a piece of cap rock as a feature for maybe 35 years and is in amazing condition. I have a Bristol 20 manual which includes the Tru Trac plough but I`d like to know more about them
